Kathy Sierra has written a great post on the “Whats” and “Hows” of being a good teacher/trainer. Unlike Johnnie Moore I’m not worried about lists if they give you useful information in a digestible form - especially if (as in Kathy’s post) the list is supported with references to online and book reading for those who want to explore further.
My favourite?
Know a little something about “the Socratic method”. Know why it’s far more important that you ask the good questions rather than supply all the answers.
