* Converting a selected sub-tree to a linked sub-map to manage complexity
Simon Buckingham Shum (Compendium Project): Right-click on the target node and select "Transclude to new map". A fresh map with the same label is created and linked to that node. Then you can Alt-click on the node to select all its children, cut them, open the fresh map, and paste them in.
* A mouse/key combination that allows me to pick up the "paper" and move it around.
Simon Buckingham Shum (Compendium Project): you can drag around the canvas with the right-key down
