A Democritean Universe is just a 3-dimensional collection of "atoms" in "space" - a philosphical tool for simplifying thought.
By defining f{x,y,z,t} = 0 or 1, representing an empty "slot" or an "atom" for all points x,y,z and for all times t you completely describe a given Democritean Universe.
