Fundamental tools and techniques of competitive strategy, including:

* How to gain and sustain competitive advantage
* How to identify the organisation`s key capabilities and understand how unique capabilities deliver competitive advantage and organisational success
* How to think about markets and customers and how that understanding helps deliver and sustain competitive advantage
* How to consider and explore the influence of organisational culture and stakeholders on the strategy process
* How to test out the feasibility of delivering the strategy.
