Descriptive label used in NeuroLinguisticProgramming for a grouping of TimeLine metaphors where the subject tends to represent time as a line from behind the body to in front of the body. It's common to find that people who represent time in this way are extremely good at being "engaged in the moment". However there can be examples where they find future planning difficult. Some people also report a correlation between this metaphorical mapping of time and a tendency for unresolved past events to be associated with negative emotions and a feeling of some kind of threat from behind.
