Descriptive label used in NeuroLinguisticProgramming for a grouping of TimeLine metaphors where the subject tends to represent time as a line from one side of the body to the other. The critical distinction is that the sense of where "now" is located is outside the body, usually to the front.

It's common to find that people who represent time in this way are good at planning, especially for complex projects where the inter-relationships of tasks in time are important. However as typically there is no point in time which is mapped as passing through the body there can also be evidence of mild [Disassociation "disassociation"], for example reduced emotional engagement with events.
